Da You Pu'er Tea (大友普洱茶) is a Taiwan-based tea company, headquartered in Yingge District, New Taipei City, that has spent three decades building itself into a leading brand in pure, unblended pu'er tea. Founded and led by Mr. Liao Yi-Rong (廖義榮), the company operates four large tea factories directly in Yunnan, China, giving it full control over the process from cultivation to production, and its teas have passed extensive pesticide and safety testing that allows export to markets including the EU, US, and Japan. We first crossed paths with Mr. Liao in Yunnan through a mutual friend, and tasting the tea he produces left us genuinely thrilled — the depth, purity, and craftsmanship behind each batch made clear why his reputation in the pu'er world is so well earned.
