A tribute to tradition. Crafted for those who appreciate depth, elegance, and time.
Emperor Cake (皇帝餅) is one of those teas that quietly announces itself as something special. A 2020 ripe pu er pressed from 2005 ancient-tree material out of Fengshan, Yunnan, it draws on the spirit of imperial tribute teas — rich, but never heavy, with a clarity and composure that's rare in shu pu er.
Made in limited quantities, Emperor Cake carries the celebrated "Yi Pin Xiang" character — full-bodied, naturally sweet, and the kind of tea that keeps returning to your palate long after you've set the cup down. The liquor unfolds in comforting layers: sun-warmed wood, date syrup, black sugar, antique cedar. It's dense but remarkably clean, velvety in texture, with a broad, dignified finish that reminds us of a good sherry-cask whisky. We think it'll appeal just as much to seasoned pu er collectors as it will to anyone who loves fine aged spirits.
Elegant, balanced, and quietly powerful — this is a tea that rewards slowing down. Every session becomes a little bit of a ritual.

Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed after dinner, alongside dark chocolate or roasted nuts — or during a slow, unhurried conversation where you can actually notice how the sweetness keeps evolving, steep after steep.
