Vietnam's Hidden Tea Country — Four Teas Worth Knowing

Vietnam's Hidden Tea Country — Four Teas Worth Knowing - O5 RARE TEA BAR

When most people think of tea, Vietnam rarely comes to mind. But tucked in the ancient highlands of the north, some of the most extraordinary teas in the world are quietly growing — wild, unhurried, and almost entirely off the radar.

This week at O5, we're shining a light on four of our favourite Vietnamese teas: Dien Bien Phu, Dragon Claws, Silver Fairy, and Alder Ego. Each one tells a different story — from raw ancient-tree harvests to wild white buds and the unexpectedly wonderful Alder Ego, made from an alder tree rather than camellia sinensis.

Watch the video above to see them up close, and stop by our Kitsilano store to taste for yourself.
