O5 | TITANIUM TEA STRAINER

A super versatile tea strainer that occasionally gaslights as a coffee (drip) brewer.

This ridiculously light titanium strainer is one of those pieces of teaware that quickly becomes difficult to live without. Drop in your leaves, set it over a cup or faircup, add water, and brew.

The fine mesh keeps smaller leaves and particles under control while allowing plenty of room for the tea to open.

Titanium makes it extremely light, durable, corrosion-resistant, neutral in flavour, and very easy to clean. It is equally at home on the tea table, at the office, while travelling, or tucked into a camping kit.

And then there is coffee.

Despite insisting that it is a tea strainer, this thing happens to make a very competent little pour-over brewer. Add freshly ground coffee, pour slowly, and suddenly your tea equipment has developed a second identity. We won't argue with it.

One particularly satisfying detail: it nests extremely well inside our 500 mL SD Glass Faircup, creating a compact brewing setup that stores beautifully and travels well.
