This is a particularly sweet white tea cake from an old tree forest in Huazhu Liangzi, which has marked notes of baked fruit and vanilla; the liquor is bright gold through more than 8 steeps. A long, lingering sweetness remains on the sides and tip of the tongue, as well as the palate.
The stone pressed tea cakes is loosely pressed, which enables it to breath and age gracefully.
Brainchild of Gao Feng and Fan Xiu Li, two of the coolest, most talented people that we know in Yunnan (well versed in calligraphy, brush painting, Chinese ancient music, incense and... tea!), this tea is one of our team's all time favourites.
