The 2015 Zhong Guo Tuo (中国沱, Zhōngguó Tuó) is an extraordinary expression of sheng (raw) pu er. Unlike most of Xiaguan's popular blends, this tuo uses a higher grade blend: Bulang Ancient Trees (布朗古树, Bùlǎng Gǔshù), Bangdong Daxueshan Large‑Bud Tips (邦东大雪山大芽毫, Bāngdōng Dàxuěshān Dà Yáháo), and Mengku West Hills Big‑Tree Maocha (勐库西半山大树毛茶, Měngkù Xī Bànshān Dàshù Máochá).
Each of these origins contributes unique character: old‑growth Bulang leaves bring structure and depth, the high‑altitude Bangdong Daxueshan tips lend intensity and altitudinal aromatic lift, and the robust big trees of Mengku’s west hills add richness and persistence to the blend.
This tea has been dry aged in British Columbia since 2015.
