This tea was milled in June 2024, in Kyoto. We are offering it at a particularly good price since we used 2023 tencha. We believe in Mr. Yamaguchi's farming principles and project.
Like Yame O24 and Izumo I24, this tea is part of our Cafe Experience series: super versatile tea that can thrive both as a light usucha (the 'thin tea' served at 'tea ceremonies'), iced matcha or even a matcha cortado. If you're looking for an organically farmed daily treat, please consider this tea.
Notes: dandelion (flower and greens), plum blossoms, boiled rice
Strong recommendation: try this is a Matcha Americano (whisk 2g of tea in 30g of water at 70°C; add another 200ml of hot water). It also works beautifully as a cortado (2g tea, 60g water, 60g steamed milk).
Light Usucha: 2g tea / 45g water @ 65°C.
