This mountain GABA, grown at an altitude of 1400m above sea level, is made with leaves from ~50 year old tea trees that were previously abandoned; the trees, growing several years in this semi-wild state, yield leaves that are juicy and chunky as those of our very popular Lu Shan GABA.

ABOUT THE GROWER
Partner tea growers Xie and Lin are unorthodox. They grow tea organically in farms that had been previously abandoned. The availability of older trees growing on rich soil means that the tea will not have the consistency of mass production tea; every batch is special, with rich flavour and energy.
