This most delicious raw pu er, crafted and stone pressed by Gao Feng and Fan Xiuli, has unusual sweetness (for the region) yet mind-boggling "gan".This Lao Ban Zhang cake is a blend of leaves from the 2013 to 2015 spring harvests.The first couple of steeps, as the leaves awaken, are gentle and yield some fruity aroma reminiscent of old tree dan gong.In subsequent infusions, stronger, rainforest flavours are expressed.After 15 - 20 steeps, expect a beautiful feeling of ‘gan’ and a long lasting smile.
